Join us on June 9 + 10 2022 for our 13th Annual Latino Health Equity Conference: The Power of Community
Through the ever-changing and often uncertain landscape the covid-19 pandemic has created, there is one thing that we are certain of: we wouldn’t have had the same level of success in keeping our communities safe without Community Health Workers (CHWs).
This will be an inspiring conference that celebrates CHWs and CBOs, and addresses gaps and changes needed in healthcare systems serving Latino/x/e communities, specifically in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Presentations will shed light on how CHWs and CBOs reshaped public health through the pandemic and how collaborations with State & Local Public Health Authorities, major healthcare systems, and local providers have paved the way for a new future that will continue to support Latino/x/e and BIPOC health.
